Well it looks like I will be able to photograph Mount Everest from the North Face base camp...I hope we get a sunny day...we're heading on a 16-day expedition of Tibet and Nepal, with National Geographic in the fall of 2012...yeah it's a little ways ahead, but there is only 2 trips in the fall...and it's with Peter Hillary, so we made sure to reserve early...we will also add to this 4 days in Bhutan at the tail end of the trip...The excursion begins in Beijing, so we will take advantage of this to go to Xian to see the Terracotta Army...it's been a while since I have been to the Great Wall and Forbidden City and I didn't have my gear at the time, so I look forward to be able to photograph these sites...I smell Peking Duck in my future...
Eh bien...je crois que je vais avoir la chance de photographier le mont Everest à partir du camp de base de la face nord...j'espère seulement qu'il fera soleil...nous venons de réserver notre expédition pour l'automne 2012...16 jours au Népal et au Tibet avec National Geographic...nous nous devons de nous prendre très d'avance, car il n'y a que 2 expéditions et Peter Hillary fera partie du voyage…nous ajouterons 4 jours au Bhoutan à la fin du voyage…L’expédition débute à Pékin, donc nous tirerons avantage de cette escale pour nous rendre à Xi’an pour visiter les soldats de terre cuite…Il y a belle lurette que j’ai visité la Grande Muraille de Chine et la Cité interdite et je n’avais pas mon équipement de photographie, donc je vais en profiter pour photographier ces sites merveilleux…je vois aussi quelques canards de Pékin dans mon futur..
