Journée de voyage - Xi'an - Travel Day

Today was a travel day...we got up pretty early as we were being picked up at 7:30 AM...the airport is pretty far from downtown Beijing...7 hours later we checked in our hotel in Xi'an...no visits planned for the afternoon...lots of haze, so the photography is on hold for today...on top of that the Sherpa wanted a 007 Martini, so I joined her at the bar...they are days where you have to sacrifice yourself for others...today is one of those...tonight I will be meeting a work colleague for dinner...should be fun...tomorrow, the Terracotta Army...



Une journée de voyage aujourd'hui...la levée du corps s'est fait très tôt ce matin...nous avons quitté notre hôtel à Pékin vers 7 h 30 ce matin...l'aéroport est à plusieurs km du centre vile...7 heures plus tard nous étions à notre hôtel a Xi'an...pas de visite planifiée pour l'après-midi...le temps est assez maussade, donc la photographie a pris du repos...de plus le Sherpa voulait un 007 Martini, donc je l'ai accompagnée au bar...il y a des journées comme ça où on doit se sacrifier...aujourd'hui en était une...ce soir je rencontre un collègue de travail qui habite ici à Xi'an...j'ai bien hâte...demain, les soldats en terre cuite...
