Today, our day started pretty early...at 5:30 AM we jumped in the car to go a catch our Buddha Air flight to Mount Everest...the checkin was a bit chaotic...I must admit I had been a bit apprehensive about this flight since the plane crash that happened here less than 2 weeks ago...but as soon as I sat in the seat, I felt pretty much in my natural element...the flight was smooth and the view was spectacular...unfortunately, we didn't get that close to Everest...I was very happy that we had flown over it on Sunday, on our way in from China...otherwise, my experience would have been a bit disappointing...
We were back at our hotel by 8:45 AM...had breakfast and then went touring in Kathmandu...We started by visiting the Monkey Temple...from there we went to the Dunbar Square and finished at the Patan Square...life in Kathmandu is hectic...no matter where we turn, there is something going on...Tonight we are heading to a restaurant to enjoy a typical Nepalese meal...
Aujourd'hui, notre journée a commencé assez tôt...à 5 h 30 nous avons sauté dans la voiture pour aller prendre notre vol de Bouddha Air pour aller voir le Mont Everest...l'enrégistrement était un peu chaotique...je dois admettre que j'avais été un peu appréhensif de ce vol depuis l'accident d'avion qui est arrivé ici il y a moins de 2 semaines...mais, aussitôt que j'ai été assis dans le siège, je me suis senti dans mon élément naturel...la vue était spectaculaire...malheureusement, nous ne sommes pas allés très près de l'Everest...j'étais très heureux que nous l'avions survolé dimanche, lors de notre envolée en provenance de Chine...autrement, mon expérience aurait été un peu décevante...
Nous étions de retour à notre hôtel vers 8 h 45... après le petit-déjeuner nous sommes allés visiter Kathmandu...Nous avons commencé par visiter le Temple des Singes...de là nous sommes allés au Carré Dunbar et avons fini au Carré Patan...la vie à Kathmandu est mouvementée, peu importe où nous nous tournons, il y a quelque chose qui se passe...ce soir nous nous dirigeons vers un restaurant pour déguster un repas typiquement Népalais...
